Intensive Outpatient Program
For some people, completing the partial hospitalization portion of the rehabilitation program is the easiest step in their recovery. When they return to their everyday life, activities, and schedule, they are also reintroduced to the elements and factors that put them on the pathway to addiction. That is why we feel it is so important to establish a transition from inpatient treatment to our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP).
The Intensive Outpatient Program offers at least 9 hours of therapeutic time per week with a qualified addiction counselor. IOP is often recommended by our clinical team to ensure that an individual establishes and maintains new and healthy habits while returning to everyday life.
Your success in these programs strengthens your overall sobriety while laying a solid foundation for future advocacy. Parkdale will work with you locally or via Telehealth IOP from wherever you call home to ensure you are receiving the best continuing care.
Continuing care efforts include:
-
Home living, adjusting to new norms and support
-
Group appointments in your community
-
Online and in-person group engagements with Alumni
Intensive Outpatient Program Includes:
-
Group psychotherapy
-
Psychoeducation
-
Education on wellness, recovery, and resiliency
-
Education about 12-Step groups
-
Alternative support groups
Reintegration/Professional Re-Entry to work may be our next recommendation, however, it depends on your individual needs. In every case, we recommend Aftercare to proceed the Intensive Outpatient Program, in order to give you the best prospect to maintain your sobriety.
