Long hours during the construction high season is a huge contributing factor to the levels of abuse in this industry. Studies have shown that people working more than 50 hours per week are at a higher risk for substance misuse. During the building seasons, construction workers are at a higher risk. Additionally, steelworkers who choose to work overtime or whose regular schedule has built-in overtime are at a higher risk than other workers who work 40 hours or less per week.
Not only are the hours emotionally challenging and difficult on family life, but the work is also oftentimes labor-intensive and can result in substantial physical pain or discomfort. These industries typically adopt a mentality of “work hard; play hard”, which encourages participation in substance indulgence that can lead to a significant problem.
Impaired construction and steelworkers are at high risk of accidents that could result in injury and even death.

For those requiring more support than traditional outpatient care but not needing 24-hour medical supervision, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a structured and comprehensive treatment approach. Through intensive therapy sessions several times a week, participants receive individual counseling and group therapy to address addiction-related challenges and personal needs.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an intermediate level of care, providing a more structured and supportive environment for individuals facing substance abuse or addiction issues. Within the IOP, individuals can openly share experiences, receive guidance, and learn valuable coping skills to manage triggers and cravings.
Furthermore, our IOP emphasizes relapse prevention techniques, educates on addiction and mental health, and promotes healthier coping mechanisms.
The Outpatient/ Aftercare Program is a vital component of the rehabilitation process for those who have completed primary inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment. This stage plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals as they transition back to their regular lives after structured treatment.
