Drug Rehab for Pharmacist
At Parkdale Center, we understand that just because your profession and education have given you extensive knowledge about drugs, does not mean it makes you immune to addiction. Also, due to Pharmacist’s ease of access to medications, there is an increased risk in developing a substance use disorder (SUD).
Substance misuse among pharmacists is an important issue with serious consequences that can impact both your personal and professional life, as well as result in poor judgment or medication errors that can harm your patients.
Pharmacists often work under stressful conditions in a confined workspace. The average pharmacist will work in a small area and many develop hip, back, and leg problems – due to the need to be on their feet all day.
Parkdale Center recognizes the importance of maintaining a harmonious balance between your professional endeavors, personal well-being, and sobriety journey. Our tailored treatment programs are designed to address the unique requirements of individuals in different professions. We are dedicated to collaborating with a range of regulatory, legislative, investigative, monitoring, and treatment entities to ensure that our Aftercare program surpasses all expectations.
We Are here for you
Our Program
Our Programs adamantly promote public safety while complying with all treatment recommendations from involved parties and the local, state, and federal authorities. This is why you see the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards accreditation seal of approval on our website. We take these standards very seriously.
You are not alone!
- 19% of practicing pharmacists are occasional or regular users of a controlled substance without a prescription.
- 58.7% of pharmacists reported using a nonprescribed drug at least once in their lifetime.

A structured treatment program called a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers intensive and all-encompassing services to people with substance abuse or addiction problems. It is intended for people who need more assistance than traditional outpatient care but do not require the round-the-clock medical care offered in an inpatient or residential setting. Individual and group counseling are provided during the participants’ multiple weekly therapy sessions to address their unique needs and addiction-related difficulties.

A level of care that lies between conventional outpatient treatment and residential/inpatient treatment is our IOP drug rehab. Individuals struggling with substance abuse or addiction issues can get support and therapy from IOP, which is a more intensive and structured approach.
IOPs provide a disciplined and encouraging setting where people can talk about their experiences, get advice, and learn coping mechanisms to deal with cravings and triggers related to addiction.
IOPs frequently place an emphasis on relapse prevention strategies and offer information on addiction, mental health, and more healthy coping mechanisms.
For people who have finished a primary inpatient or intensive outpatient program for substance abuse or addiction, outpatient aftercare is a crucial part of the rehabilitation process. It is essential for assisting people in leaving a structured treatment environment and returning to their normal daily lives.
