Springfield Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center

Parkdale Center clients usually start with our partial hospitalization program (PHP). PHP is a full-time program that involves: 

• Evidence-based group and individual therapy sessions.
• Mindfulness, meditation, creative expression, and other holistic and alternative services or treatments.
• Exercise therapy, including gym visits and a free membership to the local YMCA.
• 12-step meetings. 

PHP allows little time for outside obligations. It lets you focus entirely on yourself and your recovery while building a strong foundation for lasting sobriety. Due to its intensity, PHP can be an alternative to a traditional inpatient rehab program. 

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Parkdale Center meets a minimum of nine hours per week. We recommend in-person or virtual IOP services to help you transition back into daily life activities, like work, after PHP. 

Our outpatient aftercare program requires even fewer treatment hours per week than IOP. Clients in this care level attend virtual therapy sessions to help them stay on track after a higher level of care. 

Dual diagnosis treatment can be essential for those in recovery. Parkdale Center offers dual-diagnosis treatment for clients who experience substance abuse and co-occurring mental health concerns. Treating co-occurring conditions like anxiety, a mood disorder, or a trauma disorder can support your overall mental and physical well-being. It is also known to improve recovery outcomes. 

We work with a broad range of dual-diagnosis disorders and are able to manage and prescribe medications as needed, in addition to providing specialized therapies, like trauma therapy. 

In addition to our in-person substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment programs, Parkdale Center offers a virtual IOP program. Virtual IOP allows you to attend therapy sessions from home. Online sessions may be ideal for those in Springfield who don’t want to or can’t commute to treatment multiple times per week.

We offer outpatient withdrawal management services for incoming clients. Withdrawal management can help you through the acute withdrawal stage, where cravings and other withdrawal symptoms are their most severe. 

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can be a valuable part of your addiction recovery. At Parkdale Center, we offer FDA-approved MAT for people with applicable substance use disorders. Medications prescribed for substance abuse can help reduce cravings, among other benefits. They are safe and can be life-changing for some clients alongside comprehensive therapy. 

Sober living has multiple benefits for people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. First, as a Springfield resident, you may opt into sober living near Parkdale Center to make your commute to treatment more accessible. Second, sober living can support better recovery outcomes. Parkdale Center offers sober living so that people who are not local to the Chesterton area can seek treatment. However, it is unlike other sober living accommodations.
