This partnership, further solidified through the 24/7 live answer of the AANA Helpline, signifies our shared dedication to addressing the unique challenges faced by anesthesia professionals.
A History of Support
Since 1983, AANA has been a pioneer among healthcare associations, focusing on promoting and supporting the physical and mental well-being of CRNAs and RRNAs. In 2018, we entered into our partnership with AANA, bringing our expertise in SUD to anesthesia professionals. Over the years, Parkdale Center has responded to AANA Helpline calls, providing support for alcohol and other drug concerns. Our collaboration has enabled us to extend our reach to help CRNAs and RRNAs dealing with SUD or suspicion of drug diversion.
The enhanced partnership between Parkdale Center and AANA aims to increase awareness of the AANA Helpline, ensuring that anesthesia professionals have access to the appropriate help in the earlier stages of SUD. By offering rapid response and expedited, preferential admission into treatment, we hope to intervene promptly, providing the necessary support to those in need and avoiding the pitfalls associated with delayed assistance.
