Denise Ramos, LMHC

Denise is an associate level licensed mental health counselor (LMHC-A) and graduate of Liberty University’s Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She has worked with diverse populations across a variety of settings, including residential and outpatient treatment facilities and private practices. She specializes in addiction, trauma work, anxiety, and depression, working with adults, children, adolescents, and families.

Denise utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to each client including EMDR therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. She is passionate about destigmatizing addiction through psychoeducation and strives to empower clients to achieve realistic goals and live with a feeling of freedom as their authentic selves emerge.
