Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Associate)
Denise is an associate level licensed mental health counselor and graduate from Liberty University with a Master of Clinical Mental Health. She has worked with diverse populations across a variety of settings, including a residential treatment facility, outpatient treatment facility, and private practices. She specializes in addiction, trauma work, anxiety, and depression. Denise has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Denise utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to each client including EMDR therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. She is passionate about destigmatizing addiction through psychoeducation and strives to empower clients to achieve realistic goals and live in freedom as their true selves.
