Free Virtual Support Groups and Resources for Healthcare Professionals on the Frontlines
View the topic and meeting schedule here.
Parkdale Center is committed to treating healthcare professionals and those on the front lines, as they provide critical care to patients in need. As a substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment facility, we understand these firsthand risk factors that, if left untreated, could lead to other problems.
As frontline workers, you are suddenly and regularly dealing with significant quantities of stress, anxiety, and trauma that our bodies and minds are oftentimes not prepared or equipped to handle. Without healthy means of coping and professional support, maladaptive responses to these repeated traumatic events will likely result in mental breakdowns, emotional instability, physical health manifestations, or increased drug or alcohol use.
Education and prevention are key.
This is why Parkdale has developed a program specifically for frontline workers during these unprecedented and dangerous times. Our moderated virtual support groups for frontline healthcare professionals are free for those on the front lines and serves as:
- A comprehensive resource hub designed to provide support.
- A safe refuge so that you can care for yourself first in order to have the capacity to care for others more effectively.
Struggling and in need of immediate support?
Online Peer and Moderated Support Groups
Join healthcare peers or prominent experts as they share information and methods on dealing with trauma, stress, burn-out, recovery, and how to maintain self-care during tumultuous times. Meetings are open 15 minutes before designated start time. Log in early as space is limited. Meeting frequency will increase as needed, and topics may be added with your requests and suggestions. If meeting attendance verification is required, please email that address that is attached to the meeting. Please submit any other questions or requests to info@SupportTheFront.com.
