From 1990-2012, 6677 pilots were killed in crashes:
- Pilots who tested positive for at least one drug during that period increased from 9.6% to 39%
- Pilots who tested positive for two drugs increased from 2% to 20%

The Residential/Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Parkdale is a rigorous, full-time program that gives participants access to all of the facility’s therapeutic services. People live in Parkdale’s stunning, tranquil, and historic facility, which is close to the lovely Lake Michigan. Each person’s stay is different in length.

In order to establish a support network for people and outpatient appointments, Parkdale will help you locally or will collaborate with an intensive outpatient program (IOP) in your hometown. This help will make sure you’re prepared to stop any potential relapses while promoting ongoing support and sobriety.
- This phase is advised to make sure that the person starts forming new, healthy habits when they return to their regular lives.
- Onsite gatherings for groups in your neighborhood
- Professional reintegration and return to work, as advised
We want you to develop a relationship with your potential rather than just achieving it. The period after IOP is known as “Aftercare,” and for many, it ushers in new beginnings. Although it’s possible, long-term sobriety doesn’t happen the moment you stop using. It necessitates the development of a support network.
